Careprost, which contains the same ingredient (bimatoprost) as the eyelash thickening agent that lengthens and thickens eyelashes, is used as an eye drop for glaucoma.
When applied to the base of the eyelashes, it acts on the hair follicles to prolong the growth phase of the hair cycle.
Carefrost is a medicine used for glaucoma, high intraocular pressure, and baldness.
It contains bimatoprost, the same active ingredient as Grassy Vista external solution and Lumigan eye drop approved in Japan.
In addition to lowering eye pressure and being used to treat glaucoma, Carefrost improves the overall appearance of eyelashes by stimulating eyelash growth (length, abundance, and color density).
Bimatoprost, the active ingredient in Care Frost, is a derivative of prostaglandin, a physiological substance in the body.
By promoting the outflow of aqueous humor, the liquid that fills the eye, it lowers intraocular pressure and prevents the deterioration of vision due to glaucoma.
It also acts on the hair follicles of the eyelashes to prolong the growth phase of the hair cycle.
Bimatoprost can be used for glaucoma, high intraocular pressure, or baldness, but the method of use varies depending on each disease.
If you are unsure about how to use this drug, be sure to consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Usage
For eyelash thinning, drop 1 drop per eyelash onto the applicator (eyelash brush) and apply to the base of the eyelashes at the edge of the upper eyelid once a day before going to bed.
- The effectiveness of this agent cannot be expected in areas where hair follicles capable of hair growth do not exist.
- The applicator (eyelash brush) is not included with the Care Frost individual product.
For glaucoma and ocular hypertension, instill 1 drop once a day.
